One of the story introduction pieces I drew for an educational game our company developed. It depicts a space-time rift tearing apart a city.

Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira manga is one inspiration for drawing breaking cities.

The shadings and the rift effect is done in Photoshop.

Cool concept there!
ooo thats brilliant, weird orgigine for which it was drawn, but i love the way the buildings are disapearing under all the smoke an rubble. Hard to get buildings looking right I find with freehand as well, but theres a sort of roughness youve done which blends them in well :) :+fav:
